Iguana Be a Fun Week

March 25, 2015 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
First day in Cayman. Waited until right before dusk to run, because I knew I was dehydrated from the traveling and didn't want to get any sort of heat related illness. Our hotel is right on the beach, and there are two highways (spaced around 300 meters apart where we are) that run parallel to the coast between us and the Golf Course. There are barely any traffic lights here, but I managed surprisingly quickly to cross both highways and go onto the golf course trails/road, where I explored and just had fun freeforming. About 5 minutes into the run, my watch display started to fade, and by the end, it was just a blank screen. I asked other runners for the time periodically, and subtracted any time I spent crossing roads or asking for the time from the time I saw when I got back to our room. Even at dusk, this place is really hot, but the wildlife got my mind off of it a bit. Saw a very large iguana, some wild chickens, and a ton of lizards.

Time is approximated, and distance is give or take .5, as it's super hard to map the side trails on the gold course.
