So that's how we set the summer off? Setting a PR @ the 8.5 mile trail loop, setting the standard of what will be expected out of summer training and what is to come next racing season. Running all those have marathon have made me tough. The 8.5 mile distance doesn't seem so bad, especially holding a low 6 minute pace. At the end of the three months I would like to be able to hold a 5:50 pace at the distance!

Not bad number for the month. I ran 18 our of 31 days. And was able to run a total of 134 miles, the most I have ran this year. I would like to start April off strong. I had a four day rest now its time to start training. The base mileage is set at 34 miles and working up. I will try hard not to drop below 34 miles.
