Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
We started out doing a two lap warm up with the whole team then the distance guys split up and did a progressive warm up of 5 mins easy 5 mins cruise and 5 mins tempo then we got back and a few of our guys did another 2 laps. Then we test out the oace we wanted to go for the race with the 200 we were supposed to get 40 seconds. Did some drills and strides and then we used the mile as a workout for the first 1000 trying to go around 40 seconds per each 200 I was supposed to be the pacer but I didn't do the best job because normally I just hang right on someone's shoulder. I'll work on that. Then once we had 600 m left we could go all out. Held back at the beginning then with 300 left I made a move up right behind Niall who was leading I kept pushing until the last 150 meters or so then I reached full kick went around him. It was fun and I didn't really view it as a race. Then I cooled down and warmed back up for my 4x4. I was the third leg and I felt like I held my all I've always been a solid 400 runner even though I consider myself a distance runner. Our team won the 4x4 as well. Then I cooled down.
