Today was awesome. I've been incredibly sore ever since Wednesday's workout, but I started feeling better today.
800 - goal was 2:21 or 2:20; got out fast to avoid getting tripped up like at VMI. 32 for the first 200, 67 through the 400. I tried to focus on my kick and my last 200. Coming around the curve I passed a girl and felt really strong. I died a little on the final 50 and let two other girls pass me. Ran 2:21.01 though, so I'm super pumped.
4x400 - second leg; wanted to post a solid time to get myself on the 4x4 at conference. I really liked cutting in. On the curve I passed a girl again, I finally felt like I had some speed for once. Usually I try to go but just can't seem to get moving. Ended up splitting 61 :)
