AU Workout cut short

Forgot to log yesterday so I'm posting this Thursday evening. Yesterday's plan was for a 8-8-4-4 workout at AU. My groin had been bothersome at the very end of Monday's run and on Tuesday but never really painful. It stayed that way in warmups and on the first 800. I felt it a little more on the cool down lap after that first interval and the pain really increased on the second 800 and, though I was able to finish it, as soon as I slowed to a cool down jog I realized I had to stop. I hadn't been feeling any pain other that when running before the workout but afterward it was painful just to walk. I immediately felt better just by getting inside, warming up and putting on some pants. Even now, though, the pain is still a little worse than it was before the workout.
