Comments:
It's been far too long since I've done a bona fide run in Arlington. Glebe, Old Dominion, Lee, Military, 35th, through Gulf Branch and back home. It took a few minutes to get into a rhythm, but soon I was feeling good--perhaps too good. Now that I only have three, maybe four races left, I will have to compete with a greater sense of urgency. I am a little tired of these modest improvements, and I don't want to be kicking myself all summer because I didn't finish off my senior year well. Because of this muscle strain in my chest, I am abstaining from strength work until it goes away.
