Long Run #5

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: HUMID...temp started mild then got pretty warm

Comments:
Got up at 6am to get my run in so the family wouldn't make me feel bad for making them wait for anything. Ran 2hrs, 30 mins...started by going to Enders Island and back to see how the sun rise looked out on the ocean (sun sets are much prettier!)...then ran to downtown Mystic across the drawbridge through to and around Groton Long Point and then turned around to go back to the island...got back to the house a little over 2 hrs...was DYING by then because the sun came out and I was thirsty and I only had thick socks I usually don't run in clean so I had a painful blister on my pinky toe that popped while I was running...but I suffered through the last 30 mins and kept telling myself that what doesn't kill make will make me stronger although it slightly worries me that I have to run 9 more miles after this!! Overall, the first half went great but the last bit kind of overshadowed that. Need to find ways to drink more along the way and whatnot...
