Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I did my two remaining time trials today, an 800 and a 400. Congrats to Aidan and Lulu for great time trials and to everyone else for great workouts. In the 8, I definitely went out too slow, since I felt really good during my kick. It was fun to feel so in control. For the 4 I was definitely very tired, and also it felt more like a workout pace than a race pace. I ran slower than I did at the beginning of the season. However, my first 2 of the 8 + the last 2 of the 8 together were significantly faster than the 4, and I ran a 4 in the middle of the two 2s, so I know I could have been faster. I feel ok about it in general.
I know I shouldn't so fixated on PRs but it's hard not to, since I feel like otherwise I didn't get anything out of most of the last 7 months. Obviously the reason to do this sport isn't times; it is because runnimg is fun and fulfilling. But since I don't enjoy cross training, it definitely became the main reason to be biking every day for so long. It's frustrating to see literally nothing come of it. I should just let it go though. Sorry for being overly dramatic.
