Was so positive going into the raace but when it started I found myself in last place and didn't even try to move up. I dropeped out with 800 to go. This season has turned me into a wimp, a coward, lazy, but most of all TIRED!
I know this does not need to happen ever again, and it wont'. I am learning from this. I am even trying to find humor in the situation, because I take myself too seriously. It's ok, it really is. i am going to be fine, and I am going to work hard this summer. Whatever place I end up by the time cross country rolls around will be the place I earned knowing I gave it my all this summer. And that's ok. I don't have to be the best, I just have to be MY best.
