Not at all the race I was hoping for. Couldn't get my legs to move. My first mile was where I wanted to be, but then i just slowed down. I definitely need to work on my hill training, that's where I slowed down.

There was a big gap inbetween mile 1 and 2...I just felt like I couldn't keep a steady pace. Very discouraged after this race. I need to remember that I took a year off. In positive news, i did manage to cut some time off since my last 5k. In march, I ran a 5k in Hornell, Ny and my time was 23:31. The courses were about the same so I have improved a little.

I feel like I really need to work on my endurance and run more mileage a week. I definitely am one that benefits more from a longer runs. Still have a ways to go before I am back down to where I want to be and I am going to continue to work as hard as I can.
