Light workout with Jim

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 60s and light to heavy rain

Comments:
As Jim said, it seemed like we were in Oregon. I ran from home to AU to meet Ehrenhaft at 8:15am. We did drills and striders. Then ran 6 x 300m with 100m (60 second) recoveries. Jim's target was 63 and he was eager not to push beyond that. Still, we kept going too quick, and he consented. We alternated the lead with me taking even intervals. My breathing and effort were very controlled,and it was just the sort of lazy workout I was seeking. Jim was so even and consistent, and I hope I can run workouts like him when I'm fifty too. I did allow myself to push the final 100m on the final two which led to faster times. Ran home alone afterwards and saw both Sam McFerran and Gillian "The Bunny Rabbit" Page an long the way. Sam was driving. Gillian was clipping along on her rainy run. I was plenty tired by the time I got home. Pleased with the workout and the runs this week. I focused on Billy Cox style upright form for both the intervals and steady runs today.
