Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran with Coach Liam, Silas, Noah, Ronan, Jakob, and coach Weishaar for part of it. This run felt the best yet so far this season. I never felt like I was pushing it at all it just felt natural. The pace was very consistent the entire run, the end of the run was a little quicker but not much. I liked this run a lot it was just a big loop and it had a fair amount of hills. It was just an overall solid run. In some pretty crappy conditions too. It was pouring out and the wind was rough a lot of the road was flooded. I was proud of the guys who came out to run. Shows the will of this team. Afterwards we did drills but we really focused on form and what the drills did to make our form more efficient. That's what I have been focusing on the past few months making my forms very efficient so I waste as little energy as possible hopefully doing these with the strides will help the team focus on form efficiency too because it is a very underrated aspect of running. Me and Silas did 6 strides after and Jakob and Noah did a 400 m time trial instead of their strides. Knuckleheads. For some reason today I just got really pumped up for this upcoming season and what it has to hold. I'm gonna train my hardest and set the best example for this team so we can succeed. And in the races I will put my best effort out there every time so the team is in the best possible position to win.
