Great to see Will running after six months off! I'm really trying to take advantage of the warmups to vary my pace and talk to people I wouldn't otherwise run with at this point. Today's route was last week's impromptu loop, but backwards. We took Garfield to Mass to Wisconsin, turning left at Western. Turned left off of Western onto Mass Ave at Westmoreland Circle and then took Mass up and across Wisconsin. I felt pretty good, and the run was only 43 minutes, so Mickey and I went down Garfield, left on Pilgrim road, and then left after the Pilgrim Road hill onto an unmarked trail that spit us out behind the building adjacent to the upper field where we stretched. Felt pretty good, but I did falter a bit on the hill going up to Ward Circle. After that was over, I felt a lot better, and the Mass Ave hill going up to Wisconsin wasn't as bad as I always think it will be.
