Exercise Type: Run

Weather: dry and hot.

Comments:
Yuck. I despise running in heat. But it's always so worth it once the weather cools off.

I felt fine on the warm up run, just tired from heat. For the most part I felt good. I did the varsity one with Rachael and Meghan even though I was tempted to cross the pipe, but then when they were going I couldn't not.

During the warm ups when we were doing high knees I felt something pop in my upper right thigh.

And it bugged me the rest of the warm ups and during the strides. It wasn't unbearable just obnoxious and enough to make me run funny. I felt like one leg was shorter than the other or something.

And right now I can still feel it when I walk around the house. I guess I'll just see tomorrow.

I did 10 strides and I'm super glad I did. Jessica convinced me to do 8 then I convinced her to do 10. And we decided afterwards if we set ourselves up to be weak by always doing the smallest workouts then we'll be weak the whole season.

I'm coming to afternoon practice, but not morning because of registration. Maybe tomorrow night I'll do something to make up for missing it. I don't want to fall behind!
