First day back

Weather: Hot but windy

Today I ran with Coaches Liam and Weishaar, Tristan, and Cole, while Noah biked alongside us all.
Today was a hard run for me. I ran a little over vacation, maybe three times a week, but was always staying active doing hiking and rafting. I was always going to bed completely tired no matter the day. However, on the last week everyone got sick and the work load decreased a little. I didn't run at all due to my slight illness, and I think I am still just a little under the weather so I felt extremely bloated throughout the run.
The first part of the run was fine. My legs seem to be pretty in shape, but my stomach was absolutely killing me. After going up the hill on Turkey Hill Road I threw up. It was pretty gross but made me feel a little better and I just kept running. I really am hoping to get into a good groove and schedule. I am still tired and jet-lagged, but I think I can get back to good running soon.
It was great seeing how many people were coming to these fun runs, though I felt a little out of the loop as a captain since I have missed so much. One of my goals will probably to get some more freshman on the team since we had people from every other grade.
