Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Attendance was me, Kieran, Matt L, Matt J, Ciach Liam, Ciach W, Tristan, Ian, Silas, Noah Mattice, Soren, Ronan, David Franck, Niall, Connor, and Hunter. Great all around attendance. We did a good 5.5 mile loop through Cornell and the golf course then through some trails to Forrest home then to the plantations before the workout. Then we got to the workout. At the beginning I wasn't feeling all that well I had a stomach ache but it got a lot better through the workout. For the entire workout me and hunter stayed right together up front with Ian, Silas, Matt J, and Ronan right behind us. It was a good top pack. Every time I got up front I had an urge to push it just because I know hills are probabably the thing I need to work on the most in my running. But I settled down by the end and me and hunter only pushed the steep part of the hill and the crest. All the guys are looking great we all did 8 reps including JV. I noticed how well the guys in our top group were doing too Hunter was pushing me up there and Silas and Ian were sticking right with us the whole time. I was feeling great about halfway through I didn't feel all that tired by the end which is probably a good sign don't want to push myself that hard yet. Afterwards we went back through the plantations, the through the trail that lead up to tower rd and to the track. We did some longer strides(400m) and drills also around 15 mins of abs and me Silas and Kieran did hips. *the 1800m at the end is my recovery between reps.
