Sadly, I reached the pool just as the 15 minute safety break started. After spending those minutes thinking about how I should have just finished the run, I hopped in the pool and stated aqua-jogging. I guess it's been a while since I've been to the pool, because I could easily stand in the deep-end, making the aqua-jogging a bit of a challenge. I tried to work especially hard to keep my shoulders above the water and my feet off the ground. The deep end was a bit crowded, and it's pretty hard to maneuver when aqua-jogging, so I transitioned to freestyle laps for about five minutes before finding that the crowd had begun to thin. I then resumed aqua-jogging and finally managed to get my effort level up to what it would be on a normal run. Serious respect for people who do that on a regular basis; my arms were killing me after 10 minutes. I'll see if I can log while I'm away, but I'm packing a paper running journal just in case.
