Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran with Matt and Soren. The attendance wasn't the best but that was sorta to be expected a lot of the guys training/volunteering for the tri, everyone who volunteered had to get in to set up this morning. And Silas was at work. We started off with the pace really easy and it stayed easy for most of the run though it did pick up a little later in the run on the flat/downhill part of the run. Matt stayed with us until the Giles turnoff when he turned back and me and Soren went on. I told Soren that I thought he was doing really well and could be a key piece to our team and continue doing what works for him. We extended at the end past the bridge up in Cornell to the cemetery where we went down there so we get the full 8 in. I got back did drills and strides. Then when everyone left I did around 13 mins of barefoot running on the infield. The cool part was that it was only me and Dustin brown on the infield. Me being and ex hockey player thought that was really cool. He was doing an intense workout in the middle of the infield I was running circles around him I didn't want to get in his was so I only talked to him after the barefoot running I told him to keep working hard and how it was cool that he's been working out at the high school for the summer and shoke his hand then left it was cool.
