Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
woke up at 6:15 to get my run in. I definitely considered taking an off day and going back to sleep, but I'm glad i didn't. My route was just rittenhouse to Chevy Chase circle and then out on Connecticut towards Cleveland park.
Pretty sure the first half was actually less time than that says, because when i was finishing the first mile, my watch said 10 minutes, and it didn't feel like a 10 minute mile.
Then the second half was good! At one point I was saying to myself, "so this is what it feels like to feel good on a tempo." The tempo was definitely aided by the stop lights (though I didn't hit a ton on the way back) and the downhill.
But overall this was pretty good, so thats two good runs in a row!
