Really good run today. Very steady pace and good pack. Ran together for about 8 miles until Matt took a little shorter route. I got a cramp early on, but ran through it and then felt pretty great for the rest of the run. I feel like I am starting to get on the same level as the big boys, except for hills. I always have to play a little catch-up after we go over a big hill. I also got stung by something on my ankle after the stairs in the trails, but I just ran through it.

We finished with drills, strides, and abs with the girls. Tomorrow after the run Jake and I will be sending out some messages to the athletes who have failed to attend practices recently. A lot of people do have valid excuses, but many others just aren't coming because they don't want to. Either way, I am hoping attendance will spike with the first day of practice.
