Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Small group again at the GDS practice, but marginally larger than on Wednesday. After 20 minutes of discussion about today's route, we just decided to go north on Wisconsin to the CCT some way or another. We all stayed as a group, going fairly slowly, until Dorset, where we decided to turn left. At that point, Noah, Jackson, Jack, and I picked it up a bit. We turned right on the CCT, and Jack and I decided to turn right on Woodmont (in Bethesda) and return back to school via Wisconsin. I felt alright on the run, but my stomach was bothering me a bit on the way back. That made it easier to relax the pace with Jack. We got back to school at the 40 minute mark, so I decided to extend. I kept going on Wisconsin, turning right on Albermarle and then right once again on 42nd. Once I got to Chesapeake, I turned left and went around the GDS block. The whole extension felt pretty good. Did 8 striders on the sprint track with Noah. It was only my second set this summer, but they felt surprisingly good and remained crisp throughout all eight.
