I aimed for about 13.5 for this much anticipated long run, but got so lost in the complicated archipelago of Stockholm that I ended up with these numbers. Suffice it to say it was a good thing I broke down and asked people for directions when I did. Other than that, everything went my way today. At first I kept trying to keep the pace conservative, but my legs essentially said, "No, you're fine, you can go faster than that." Even more remarkable was that in the final half hour of the run, searching street after street for the Sheridan, I did not get tired. Of course, for the rest of the day I did not feel like moving much, but it's great to feel so confident at such long distances.
