Crescent Trail Relays

Comments:
Sahil drove to my house at 4, and we jogged to the Crescent to simulate the EHS Relays as he'd skipped them and was sick all week. We started at River Rd and did the first mile towards Bethesda. Cooldown was outbound through the tunnel for half a mile plus some swerving to cross the streets near Barnes and Noble. Second mile was out and back, turning 180 degrees at mile post before the golf course. That one had a slight downhill in the first half and uphill on the return. Jogged back through Bethesda with similarl swerving. Final mile was slight downhill to River rd. I felt quite good and in control, but the workout would have been ten times harder alone. Slim looked like a college runner which was a great motivation. Times were 6:25 (3:12 split) -recovery was 6:36---, 6:24 (3:11 split) --recovery was 6:33--, 6:00 (3:04 split). If it had all been flat, the first one would probably have been around 6:15-6:10 and the last one might have been 6:10-615 although we definitely worked that one the best. Very pleased with the workout!
