One of a Kind

September 13, 2015 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Fantastic

Comments:
This run was great. The weather was gorgeous and reminded me of all of last year's enjoyable fall days. Despite not getting a good night's sleep, I felt good, and I think my shoes are finally broken in. I went right instead of left on 42nd today, taking Western to Chevy Chase Circle, where I turned onto Connecticut. I followed Connecticut until the CCT, where I turned left and took it to Dorset. I followed Dorset until Wisconsin, where I crossed and took Grafton St to Kirkside Dr, across Western, and home. I feared a run like the one I had on a sunday night during spring track season would never return, but it did. My legs were flowing, my breathing was easy, and I felt like I was gliding. I definitely picked it up on the gravel part of the CCT, but I purposefully reigned the pace in once I got to Bethesda. Even though I felt great, I didn't want to overdo it.
