Comments:
We ran up Mount Greylock (3491 ft. above sea level) today after a van ride and 14-minute warmup. Subtracting that and a cooldown, it took me 1:03:14. We were supposed to do 5x6-minutes at threshold effort with 4-minute recoveries, which I did. But then when I realized that I still had a ways to go, I pushed the last 10 minutes at a similar pace. I was in such a great mood about practice that the challenge didn't daunt me, but that may have backfired, because it took some time to get into the workout and I'm now left wishing I had pushed harder earlier on. I'd still count this a solid day. Better yet, I'm feeling closer to the team as these weeks pass.
