IMAZ workout
WU - 500s 200p. I felt pretty good after 300y of swim so I skipped the rest of the swim and did the pull. Also, I knew I'd be pressed for time.
6 x 500(15") Odds-negative split, Evens desc. by 100s. 8:04, 8:08, 8:17, 8:24, 8:20, 8:09. I started out at what I figured was 65% effort and worked up to 80-85% in each rep. I had trouble breathing: water kept getting in my mouth. Also my goggles leaked during warm up until I tightened the head band (will need new goggles soon). On the descending reps, I felt like I was descending evenly, but I didn't time each 100, so I won't know for sure. On the neg-splits, I really tried to take it easy for the first half. The second half I wanted to really push it to 85%, but I think that 85% was relative to how tired I was. For some reason, this workout I was concerned about the angle of my arm just before the power phase. I wasn't sure how deep it should be while gliding.
8 x 50(20")P build to 85%
