Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Oddly warm and rainy

Comments:
The order of the day at Mount Greylock HS was 6x3 minutes at 5k pace with 2:30 recoveries. In the second minute of the second interval we were to speed up to mile pace for 20-30 seconds, in the fourth play two rounds of choo-choo train within our group and in the sixth, build to a kick for the last minute--this part I did poorly, despite adequate performance in the rest of the workout. My group comprised Ross, Nick, Matt Rock and Greg F. The cough persists, but now that I am armed with a five-day antibiotic regimen, it should be on its way out soon. I had the option to do seven repeats, but did six in the spirit of this down week. My only reservation about it is that mileage has decreased every week since school started. But considering the way I have felt on the past two long runs, reducing the stress on my legs can't possibly hurt my fitness. Can it?
