My plan was to go out slower than last race and then pick people off because I thought that would help my lack of endurance at the moment. I was going to take it out with Sylv, but she was flying. I didn't want to lose her so I made sure to keep her in sight. The first mile came through in 5:54 which was frustrating because that was even faster than Bville. I got passed by 2 Elmira girls that I know I can beat. I feel so out of shape. Instead of passing people I was just getting passed. Its frustrating to see times that I know I could have run a few weeks ago but cant now. Its been almost 3 weeks without any solid training, maybe running once or twice a week. It has really just killed my endurance. I think it is time to just start pushing through any pain and train through it otherwise I am just going to keep on falling backwards. Overall came 49th so just barely got a medal.
