October 13, 2015 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: DOUBLE RAINBOW!!!
Comments:
On the first set of the workout I felt fine, Zoe was going a bit fast so about halfway through I started running at my own pace with Grace.
The second set was definitely my least favorite. My legs were killing me and I was wondering if I could even finish the workout.
During the third set, I tried to just not think at all and drifted along next to Grace. Towards the end, my legs felt better and I could really feel my endurance helping me along.
When we started the fourth set, I suddenly really had to use the bathroom, but I just decided to deal with it. It ended up distracting me from basically everything which was good and bad because I couldn't think about anything which somehow made the workout easier, but I also forgot how many 1000s we had done.
The fifth set wasn't too bad. I just kept telling myself we were almost done and then several minutes later we finished the workout.
Overall, I think Grace and I did pretty well. We didn't go too fast or too slow which was good.
I went to yoga with my dad after practice. Mellisa showed me some new stretches and we talked about cross-country and other things because she is a really good runner and ran XC in high school and college.
Just to clarify, I'm not in a big yoga class, it's just me, my dad, and Mellisa who is the yoga instructor.
