First Workout of XC Season

AM I OUT OF SHAPE. Danggggggg am i out of shape. It was so hard, whats up with that, huh? Its much different going a mile hard than a 200. By the 3rd pick up I was dying, I couldn't keep my eyes open I just had to squeeze my whole face into this tight grimace. I dont know if that made any sense BUT I did a warm up of .25, then I went right into my first pick up with my resistance 4 and kept the RPM above an 80, had a .25 recovery, then my second mile (resistance 4) was in the 75-80 range (slight dying), then .25, then my third mile (resistance 4) was above 70 RPM (full on dying) reaching above an 80 every once and a while when I felt truely inspired. I didn't think I was going to finish that mile or at least on a 4 resistance, but I did, then I finished with an 8 minute cool down. Run on sentences are the only way to write running-logs.
