Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
This was quite possible the best workout of my life. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it, because of my ankle, but it felt good enough that Anthony suggested I just run the workout (without my brace!!) and cross train tomorrow if things went really poorly. We took Nebraska to AU. Did drills and 8 striders (which felt weird because I haven't run without my brace for two weeks). My ankle felt fine though, and it stayed that way throughout the entire workout. I was in a group doing 3 miles with a 6:20 target pace. It was me, Alex, Noah B, Harrison, and Noah G in the front for the first two. We paced unevenly on the first one (6:18) and were much more consistent on the second one, despite it being off the target by more. Neither felt super challenging, and I was really itching to push myself. Anthony told us that we could go hard on the last one, so Noah B and I decided to go with and Jack. That one ended up being 5:37, and I felt great: I was able to focus on form and breathing, and my legs felt crisp and light. Anthony told the group that people could stay if we weren't all that satisfied with out workout. Erkin, Jack, Noah B, Noah G, and I stayed, and Erkin, Noah B, and I did a fourth mile with a target time of 5:50. We worked together as a pack for the first three laps (before Erkin dropped us), and paced perfectly. I was definitely exhausted after that fourth mile and super glad that I stayed.
