My stomach had been hurting for the past two days so I was worried going into the race that I would cramp up, but I was fine and didn't notice it at all. At the very beginning of a race, the leader took a wrong turn and we all followed... We walked the course after and found out that we ran about 400m extra, so that why the times seem a little slow. I think my race was fine, but I let the two horseheads girls get away from me too early so I had no chance of catching them. Lesson learned and I know that at STACs I need to stay closer to them. We lost to West Genny by 5 points which is not good for our chances of going to Feds. Its frustrating because I know we have it in us to win, but we never all seem to have a good race at the same time. I think at STACs if we all hold each other accountable and realize that every place really does count then we can kill it and really shock Corning and Elmira. So a little dissapointed today, but super motivated for next week.
