good bike ride, boring as usual. Had a great talk with Coach liam about strategy and mentality for Saturday.
Main ideas to remember:
1)Stay on top of whats going on for warm up and prep for race as if captain, don't boss around varsity, that would be dumb. If I am aware of whats going on i'm in a much better and more alert mindset, good for racing.
2)Go a little slower on the first mile, maybe 10 seconds. A 5:45 is much better than 5:30-5:35 when over all mile times average just under 6:00. You can pass more guys and in general race better if you cool your jets at the start and really turn it on in the second and third mile.
