My achillies was hurting super badly on the warmup and I was limping to try and get the pressure off of it. I didn't feel any of this pain in the race though as the adrenaline got to me. This race did not go well. Right from the start I was boxed in and immediately lost the top pack. The rest of the race I tried to maintain my position but I just kept on getting passed. In the last mile I got passed by 4 Elmira girls...I was able to pass 3 o them at the finish, but girls were passing me that shouldn't really be close to me in races. Everytime I got passed I tried to speed up but I just couldn't. So overall really disapointed with the race, I haven't had a good race all season and its really frustrating.
