Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Nice

Ran Cozy with Ferland, Rock and Kilman for the beginning, but his achilles was bothering him so he left us. I felt pretty fresh except for hamstring soreness. I did my pre-race ritual on the track, this time with four 110m striders and two, quick 60m ones. After a thorough stretch and roll, I went back to Willy D, paced around my room contemplating doing work, and then wrote down a few, realistic different lap-by-lap breakdowns of the race on my whiteboard before dinner at Mission with D-money.
All this extra sleep is improving my outlook on life. This definitely needs to be a priority, because some might say I'm not the most optimistic person. Anthony advised me not to have a plan, but during my striders, I still imagined every single thing that could go wrong. Anyway, I'm just excited about tomorrow--Belber always described the last race of the season as an opportunity to put an exclamation point on what you've already done; I'll be happy just to write a complete sentence. Equally exciting is a return to normal mileage in the coming weeks.
