500s at eagle island

not the best. the first 2 500s i felt awesome and i was going at a consistant pace and keeping towards the front. but on the 3rd and 4th one, it was so weird, but i suddenly just couldnt get enough air and i was feeling kind of lightheaded. it didnt help that i was sick to begin with and the heat didnt exactly help. i guess rusty could tell that i was exhausted. and everyone else was telling me i looked pale, so i guess its a good thing i stopped after 4. i just felt like such a wimp quitting before everyone else. i was planning on doing 8, but i suppose it was best that i only did half of that. ill try to rest as much as possible before saturday in the hopes that my cold will pass and hopefully my first race wont suck too much. ha
