Today was a funny little day, thought I'd stop back in and say hello.

Started off the morning with a track workout. Goal was 12x400 @ 90 w/ 1 min recovery. Gave myself the option of taking a lap after #6 but then didn't. Broke it up in my head as 3 sets of 4.

All in all solid and semi consistent, tough but felt in control. Was about to get miffed after the 93 but then I was like naah not worth it, snap out of it and finished off. Wise words, Liam. Total mileage for the morning at 8.5.

Needed to double today, as goal mileage for the week is 60-65. Next week will be a big one, as we run 7 days the first week (rather than 6) , but will end up hitting around 70 miles for the week. And it will be a doozey, we got workout sheets today. Went with a couple of groups for a shakeout that ended up being a bit hilly. GDS-->BK-->Chain Bridge-->Dana-->Loughboro/Nebraska and back. Dropped back on Dana, didn't want to roast my legs, think that was a good call. 5.3ish for the PM. Started snowing along the way which was a lovely surprise. It was really lovely to be back, you all are so so sweet and I'm so excited to see how your season goes. Maybe I'll drop in here periodically since I can't be in DC :)
