Barton workout

Workout was a success overall. Just another time to develop some speed. Started out with my chiropractor today and he really worked out some of my issues and made it so my chest wasn't as tight, still felt it in my back but not as much. He said I should do the warmup, cool down and strides and see how I feel in the warmup for the workout. We started out getting The warmup in the only difference was the tempo length. Did 5-5-10. 10 minute cool down at the end. Wanted to keep that pace easier than last time Weishaar said around 6 min pace so it should be a comfortable tempo. I was feeling ok in the warmup. My form was definitely affected from the thing in my back but my breathing was mediocre so I thought it was ok. Decided to do the workout. Started with some ins and outs with strides on straights and jogs on curves. Then we transitioned into some faster stuff. We did 4 100's that were progressively quicker from 10k pace to sprint pretty much the same thing as last time. Silas dropped out of one of the 100s and I knew it was his quad. He jogged for the rest of the Barton. Next was the 50s. These were really quick, they sorta hurt my back a little but it wasn't too bad. Then we finished with one last 400. Wanted to definitely keep this one easier and focus on making the second half quicker than the first half. Went out in 32.8 and came back in 32 flat. So very good pacing. I'm not gonna say the 400 felt really easy but it felt relatively easy and definitely comfortable. I'm confident with the shape I'm in as of now. Me and Neil stuck right together for that last 400. Did a 10 min cool down outside then came inside and added on skittle more for a little extra cool down.
