Killed this workout. I felt pretty strong throughout except the warmup/tempo I was a little flat, and I had some shin splints during the ins and outs. I sometimes need a little adjusting after I come off an off day like for my body to get used to running again so that's why my warmup/tempo was a little harder than usual for me. And I probably got shin splints because my shoes are getting a little old, near 400 miles on them. The rest of the workout was great. Pushed the 150's but kept them in a pace that felt alright for me. They got progressively quicker throughout. The 50's felt good. i got up on my toes and worked on my sprinting forms from last year that I used to finish races. It really works for me at least it gives me a little boost. My form is pretty much changed completely when I go into my kick. Then I got right into a 400 just to see where I was at. I didn't want to check my watch at all until the end just to see what I could do. This time kept the first lap more controlled and pushed the second lap and that worked because I had a lot more left in the tank. Went out in 30 and finished in 28. Felt good and gave me confidence that I could do that at this time, I didn't even know I could hit that after a workout like that. Probabaly should've kept it more controlled but I wanted to get that feeling of a finishing kick back under my legs. Did a cooldown around the track afterwards. Hunter's dad was there running when I was still doing my warmup and when he left a few of the Cornell guys did about an hour run around the outside of the track because they were there the entire time I was doing my workout. Then they did hurdles. Once I got done with everything I stretched and rolled.
