"I'm Back and I'm Better" -Bryson Tiller

I'm back!!!!!! Fumie (the best physical therapist in all of the district) gave me my schedule to get back into running and the go to start it, so after a long 2 1/2 months after my last try at running I'm back and this time I'm doing it right. During the summer and the fall, there were many times I returned to running and it didn't go well BUT this time I have lots of hope. Last year I would have pooh-poohed my running schedule, but my winter off was very healthy and gave me some emotional distance from the sport. Now I am excited about my schedule and having a fresh start at running. This season is all about smart running for me, I'm even working on my gait, trying to make my steps shorter, softer, and faster. This week's first level is a nice, run 100m, walk 100m, and do this for 2 mi. So I ran the straight aways and walked the turns at the Whitman track. It felt great, but the 3 min bike ride to the track left me more out of breath. It's exciting to be back and all is well with my back. :)
