August 29, 2009 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: hot

Comments:
1.my goal was to keep a positive attitude, to only get faster, not slower, and to sprint the entire 300 at the end. i tried my hardest to stay positive but i honestly started to think that i couldnt make it about half way through the race. but i kept the same pace even though i was feeling sluggish. once i reached the track i didnt think i could sprint as planned but i picked up the pace and started running about the same as the 500s at eagle island. then, once i was about 100m from the finished, i pushed as hard as i could and sprinted through the finish line. i felt more tired than i ever had before and i was so dizzy that i couldnt walk straight and one of the bk girls was told to watch me to make sure i didnt pass out. hahaha. i felt like crap for about an hour after the race and then i felt awesome because it was actually over. haha.so yes i acccomplished 2 of the 3 goals i set.

2.i think i did pretty well for my first meet but i couldve passed more people and had more ambition to stick with the ones that passed me. and i think i should have come out a little slower in the beginning.

3.i think my finish was what i did great and the fact that i didnt slow down when i wanted to.

4. first mile i felt pretty good. at the end of mile 1 i already felt tired and hot. mile two was a little sluggish but at a good pace still. mile 3 i was so happy it was the last one but once i saw i had to run around that stupid field for the third time but once it was over i ran like crazy on the track. ok thats race one. :)
