So I haven't been able to cross train because of a lack of gym access, and I wanted to do the hill workout I missed saturday, so today it was!! I ran around my neighborhood for a warm up and then settled on the hill on Macomb Street for hill repeats. I think it was longer than the suggested length, but that's ok because it was flat towards the beginning and then got more slope-y. I felt some calf tightness in my warmup but it went away during the actual workout. On my last hill, I said I'd push myself more and got a MUCH faster time--after that one, I felt accomplished.. maybe I should've used that pace with all of the hills, because I didn't feel THAT tired after each hill repeat. Oh well...I'm definitely tired now from the workout and strength :)).
