Backwards monkey extended

March 27, 2016 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Couldn't have asked for a better day for running. Was the perfect temp with a light breeze. Just got in a zone and ran. I think my shoes were too tight on my feet again because throughout the first 4 miles my left foot was hurting. Loosened the shoes up and then it was ok after that. Started from the Cornell track went through he plantations and arboretum. Then went through the trails across the bridge over the the road with the steel bridge in Varna. Went along the open field to the left and then into monkey trails. Took the trails faster than usual. The pace felt fine and I was breathing a little harder than normal but not much. After I got out of the trails I headed through horsebarn down back to Forrest home. Then did full loop around Beebee then back up to the Cornell track. My shoulders were a little tired at the end and my legs were pretty tired. Since I rolled last night tonight I did abs then took a 20 min ice bath. I'm starting to try to get out of my own head and overthinking and just running. It's been helping so far and it makes runs just go by quicker. Also if you find that sweet spot in pace it makes runs fly by too. Running way too quick it feels long and holding back too much also makes it feel long. Should have new shoes tomorrow.
