Weather: Beautiful spring weather
Comments:
I was scared that I wasn't going to be able to make it to this run because of bus scheduling, but fortunately I was able to (missing the lap around the block though--I think running to the bus stop counts!). I haven't been doing drills that much over spring break so it was super nice to do them; and, as a result, I didn't feel any calf tightness. Route was back way to AU to BK. On the way there I ran with Maddi, Hannah, Julia, and Ana and on the way back just with Ana after the rest of my group turned back. The run felt great. We turned back right at the base of the hill. 8 striders afterward; I'm now aware that they are meant to be a progression. Striders felt really good today.
Also Maddi convinced me to take her bus back home instead of waiting 30 minutes at the bus stop before mine would come, and her bus dropped me off a little way away from my house, so I just ran back :))
And OMG I just realized that Ana and I have the exact same time TOTAL for our run (that isn't that cool because we ran together, but her warmup/my cooldown?? were the exact same time.)
