Comments:
Afternoon I ran down 86th to the Reservoir (6:00). Paused and stretched, swung legs for a few minutes. Then ran the loop road around all of Central Park. Focused on keeping the pace honest. Knees were tight for most, and it never felt easy, but I was able to maintain consistent effort and the 400m splits I found in the northeast corner indicated I was running just under 7:00 pace except a bit slower up the hills coming south. 42:19 to circle the park. Funny how these are probably the same times I ran back in middle school when doing the full loop was all new and exciting. Kept pace strong and got back to Riverside from the reservoir in 5:15.
