Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
long girls team meeting and short runs. Ran to Cactus and back. the way out was with a big group and way back was with Margaux. the pace felt a little quick but I felt really good the whole time and really enjoyed my short run. I also cross-trained for 10 minutes so that I didn't have to count this as my full length run for the week (1 full run, 2 half x-train half run, 1 full cross train, 1 workout, 1 race, 1 day off). After practice Rhianna, Abby, and I (and briefly Leigh Bianchi) lifted. Leigh put us all to shame. we did some bench pressing (4 sets of roughly 10 with two 5 pound weights on the black bar), some of those hip flexor with plates exercises (2 sets of 20 with 10 pound weights), another ab exercise with a medicine ball on the bench that is at a 45ish degree angle where your feet are at the top, and some crazy planks. I enjoyed it but it takes a really long time for not that many exercises. regardless, I'm going to try to start lifting a couple of times per week.
