Sudek Race

Todaay we all raced at Sudek. The boys won and girls got second which was really good. Also we stuck to the race plan which was great too. Pack running really does work although it was knida annoying having to weave around people as we moved up through the race. I'd say I did okay overall. Definitly felt the Tuesday race and the hills in the legs. I knida got into a mental funk towards the end of mile 2 and most of mile 3 but thankfully I was able to shake myself out of it and finnish pretty strong. Still I need to improve. My legs feel tired tonight and when I;m racing. Hopefully getting to a full week of normal training will help beat that and get stronger on the hills. I'm definitly glad we only run 5k next week though. I was origionally only going to cool down for 2 miles but I edned up in the woods which turned it into 4. I needed to work out the race though. But my mileage will probably be high this week. Splits were 5:49, 6:01, 11:59 (I missed the 3 mile mark), 5:09. I ran with the group the first mile but started falling off in the second. Just need to run stronger cuz my finnish was supurb. Not bad for the first 8k though.
Streached some after the cool down but no real plan for it. 3 sets super crunches, 30 push-ups, 3x15 dips tonight.
I missed my resting heart rate in the rush to pack this morning.
