Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Well... I'll be honest here: I didn't think I was going to run a 9:14 3000m. Especially with FBLA, I thought I was going to drop a time somewhere between 9:40 and 9:50. Instead, I felt calm during the race, and slowly moved up as the race went on.
Were there things I could have improved on? Definitely. My last 200m was a 30 second kick, and I felt like I had a lot more left in me. I kicked too late, and I could've gotten 2nd instead of 4th had I kicked a bit earlier.
But I finally broke sub-10 for the 2 mile, and I've been trying to do that since the 2015 Outdoor Season. 400m was fine. Mixed feelings about the 400m though. I like running it, but it takes a lot out of you, especially when it's the very last event.
