So I'm pretty sure I crashed my second running-log account after one use (I'm just super duper talented)--thanks for the advice though Zeke! Anyway, this time, I made a whole new email address just to make a new account because it wouldn't let me have three accounts with the same email, so that's how much I care about the site. I will make sure not to crash this one!

So my run. I did a mini-tempo because Anthony said to keep it fairly short because of my shins. I steady-ed down nebraska to ward and then tempo-ed up Massachusettes and then down Wisconsin to Rosedale park where I met my dad and sister and dog on their walk. I need to work on my tempo pace because it was barely faster than my steady pace, but I did go up the big Mass hill on the tempo part, so I was definitely working harder. Also, if I'm thinking about the whole run, it was all a good bit faster than my steady pace. I had a strong sense of Deja Vu on the hill because I remembered a summer run I did with a pretty big group including Matt, Morgan, and Ana. It was one of my first runs on a trail and I was in pretty bad shape and trail running was so much more tiring. I just remember coming up the hill in the trail near there where we'd gotten lost and turning off early with Morgan and a few other people and then still having to go up the Mass hill--it was rough, but it was nice to see how much easier (though still not easy) it was this time. My right quad was really tight and painful the whole run, but the weather was soooooo nice so it was very enjoyable anyway.
