Comments:
raced the 2 and the 4 at SSSAs on friday. It really did not feel like a meet after a full day of school. Even as I stepped on to the track for the 4 it felt a little wrong. But it was still a lot of fun. The 400 was a little over a second PR. I felt like I lost a little bit of focus on the final curve but picked it back up in the final straightaway and made up some ground or passed some people. The 200 was really fun. It was basically over as soon as it started and I didn't really feel tired afterwards the way I would after a distance event.
There were a ton of awesome performances at this meet. all of the milers and 800 runners were amazing on both the boys and the girls side. the 4x4s were also great. May's leg in particular was really inspiring. I was really wishing I could have been in the 800 and worked off of Sarah and Rhianna. I wouldn't have been able to stay with them but I think having them in front of me could have helped me to a good time. But it was just as much fun watching them race!
I'm starting to get really sad as I realize that I most likely only have two meets left. I really don't want this season to end.
Note: running-log doesnt let me enter it this way but the 4 was actually 68.9, I just rounded up because they don't allow decimals
